Cove Junior School - Bed Time Story

Paul Lamont recollects
Michael Hobby had a big drum (with school badge) and his own hand-made (by his
mother) guards uniform and the teachers made up a play about the boy and girl
in dressing gowns dreaming that their toys came to life. Hence the Moon and two
Stars with an Owl before the Cock crowed. Gabrielle Maxwell-Hyde was the Sandman
(left of girl in dressing gown), Jean Smith (right of boy in dressing gown) and
Anne Dukes (right of girl in dressing gown) representing the Night. The girl
Star behind the drum may be Valerie Walden who later went to A.C.H.S.
Colin Roberts and I (Paul Lamont in striped trousers) were the Gollywogs.
