Air Chief Marshal Sir Glenn Lester Torpy
FGS circa 1967/69. Member of the Combined Cadet Force, his father was in the RAF,
possibly based at the RAE
flying the Canberra and awarded an MBE. Glenn’s friends joked it was for bombing the Mau Mau.
