The site update to allow for a better mobile viewing experience and larger photographs remains work in progress although the majority are now amended. Styling inconsistencies are slowly beiong addressed. It is not possible to update the multi-page documents, Alpha etc, without a total rewrite of the code.

Hobson’s Choice

In 1966 the Alfa Players presented ‘Hobson’s Choice’. Mike Webb was the stage manager and Paul Cooper the official photographer. The production was well received in the local newspaper. Mike had previously been described in school reports as a “first-class stage director” following his work on The Browning Version. The F.G.S. cast was augmented by pupils from nearby ‘Fernhill’.
