The journey started from the school forecourt and took a long slow meandering route via the Forest of Dean and several of the mining valley towns of South Wales until we eventually arrived at the small Holiday Fellowship home of Tregoyd.
The inevitable snap through the coach window of some anonymous small valley town and a short stop to explore a long forgotten famous view point.
More scenes en-route until at last we reach our destination - Tregoyd Guest House.
Our home for the next week, the coach driver and the view from the bedroom window.
Tregoyd was a grand guest house owned by The Holiday Fellowship with extensive grounds. In particular its rear garden included a steep wooded hill which was a constant source of breathless attraction to mad young fools for endurance races.
