Polish your shoes, have breakfast , go out and get your shoes very muddy again and come home to play cards, bridge being the game of choice; and then to bed.
Robert Croucher polishes his shoes before getting them covered in Welsh mud.
John Attree closely attended by a waitress serving cornflakes.
Anthony Fish holds the cards.
I have no recollection of any girls on the trip although other
Welsh photographs suggest that one joined the hike over the Beacons. Maybe
both were Tregoyd staff members. In the whole of my time at
Farnborough Grammar there was only one female pupil and she came from the local convent school to
join us with Gobo Mills for Applied Maths, the convent not offering a suitable course.
And so to bed.
